Influential people and their sparkling inspirational words

Hello all lovely readers out there!

How are you today? How is this Monday treating you? Hope it’s really good, because yeah mine is just going with the flow. But I know what we all need today, a spectacular dish prepared with just the right amount of good vibes, positivity and a few words of wisdom from geniuses. Well I crave for them every now and then. So let’s get started.

  1.  Maya Angelo:

    Media 2
An angel dropped from heaven I must say. Some of her best quotes have left a mark on the society and this world. Some of my favorites are:

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty. I’ve learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.

Without courage we cannot practice any other virtue with consistency. We can’t be kind, true, merciful, generous, or honest.

I’ve learned that even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one.

Have enough courage to trust love one more time and always one more time.

If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be.

We are only as blind as we want to be.

There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.

I’ve learned that I still have a lot to learn.

If you have only one smile in you give it to the people you love.

  2. Lady Diana:Media 3
Princess Diana was Princess of Wales married to Prince Charles. She truly was one of the most adored members of the British royal family and certainly known as “People’s Princess”. Some of her words of wisdom are below.

Hugs can do great amounts of good – especially for children.

Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you.

I don’t go by the rule book; I lead from the heart, not the head.

People think that at the end of the day a man is the only answer. Actually, a fulfilling job is better for me.

  3. Sushmita Sen:

    Sushmita Sen
A powerful, strong, independent single mother of two lovely daughters and definitely an embodiment of true will power with an infectious smile.
I guess this 1 video will sum it all up. What a wonderful soul she is! Watch it here Heart wrenching Speech
  4. Michelle Obama:

Michelle Obama is the wife of former U.S. President Barack Obama. Before she acquired her role as first lady, she was a lawyer, a Chicago city administrator and a community-outreach worker. It is certain that great minds have great education background and that is a reason why they are capable of enforcing change in the world. Let’s go through some of Michelle’s inspiring words.

We should always have three friends in our lives-one who walks ahead who we look up to and follow; one who walks beside us, who is with us every step of our journey; and then, one who we reach back for and bring along after we’ve cleared the way.

One of the lessons that I grew up with was to always stay true to yourself and never let what somebody else says distract you from your goals.

Success is only meaningful and enjoyable if it feels like your own.

Find people who will make you better.

I am an example of what is possible when girls from the very beginning of their lives are loved and nurtured by people around them. I was surrounded by extraordinary women in my life who taught me about quiet strength and dignity.

Success isn’t about how much money you make. It’s about the difference you make in people’s lives.

Just do what works for you, because there will always be someone who thinks differently.

  5. Sheryl Sandberg:Sheryl.Sandberg
Sheryl Sandberg is a lovely strong and true voice of today’s women. A product of Harvard, backed up with great amounts of hard work. She is currently the COO of Facebook and also best-selling author of Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead. Some of her words are truly life changing. Have a look!

Taking initiative pays off. It is hard to visualize someone as a leader if she is always waiting to be told what to do.

It is the ultimate luxury to combine passion and contribution. It’s also a very clear path to happiness.

Trying to do it all and expecting that it all can be done exactly right is a recipe for disappointment. Perfection is the enemy.

Bring your whole self to work. I don’t believe we have a professional self Monday through Friday and a real self the rest of the time. It is all professional and it is all personal.

When you’re more valuable, the people around you will do more to make it work.

If you do please everyone, you are not making enough progress.

Not everything that happens to us happens because of us.

A truly equal world would be one where women ran half our countries and companies and men ran half our homes.

  6. Lady Gaga:

An international pop star and a core heart artist has seen life through different angles before coming to the fame. Here is what we can learn from this Diva!

Some women choose to follow men, and some choose to follow their dreams. If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn’t love you anymore.

You have to be unique, and different, and shine in your own way.

Don’t be insecure, if your heart is pure.

Even if the whole world gives up on you, you always have yourself.

  7. Priyanka Chopra:

This brilliant soul is truly on her way to leave a legacy behind. A self made women with strong ethics, wonderful supportive family and immensely high career ambitions and these are just handful tokens of appreciation that we could begin to think about this storm lady.
Watch the best version of her and her bold inspiring words on Breaking The Glass Ceiling
  8. Kate Middleton:

Kate Middleton, Her Royal Highness is the Duchess of Cambridge and married to Prince William. She is truly an embodiment of grace and beauty. She is definitely someone from whom one can learn a lot of qualities by what she does at royal family business, day to day chores and of course the lovely umbrella of motherhood that she provides her kids with.

Imagine if everyone was able to help just one child who needs to be listened to, needs to be respected, and needs to be loved,  we could make such a huge difference for an entire generation.

  9. Adele:

Adele, born on May 5-1988, is a British singer-songwriter who has sold millions of albums worldwide and won a total of 15 Grammy’s as well as an Oscar. But this glory did not come to her that easily. And this journey really has something we could learn from. Some of my favorite quotes of Adele are:

Be brave and fearless to know that even if you do make a wrong decision, you’re making it for good reason.

Life is so much easier when you don’t hoard your past.

No matter what you look like, the key is to first of all be happy with yourself. And then you know if you want to try to improve things that you don’t like about yourself, then do it after you appreciate yourself.

It sounds obvious, but I think you only learn to love again when you fall in love again.

  10. Oprah Winfrey:

American television host, actress, producer, philanthropist and entrepreneur Oprah Gail Winfrey was born in Kosciusko, Mississippi. Apart from a troubled childhood back in a small farming community, she chose to rise above all to become what she is today. Definitely one person everyone should listen to because when she speaks, she speaks sense. ALL THE TIME! I could go on and on about this gem, but really the focus is on her knowledge of what she knows by far.

Every day brings a chance for you to draw in a breath, kick off your shoes, and dance.

With every experience, you alone are painting your own canvas, thought by thought, choice by choice.

Biology is the least of what makes someone a mother.

Real integrity is doing the right thing, knowing that nobody’s going to know whether you did it or not.

You can have it all. Just not all at once.

The thing you fear most has no power. Your fear of it is what has the power. Facing the truth really will set you free.

Surround yourself only with people who are going to take you higher.

You get in life what you have the courage to ask for.

The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.

I trust that everything happens for a reason, even when we’re not wise enough to see it.

The key to realizing a dream is to focus not on success but on significance — and then even the small steps and little victories along your path will take on greater meaning.

Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure.

True forgiveness is when you can say, “Thank you for that experience.

If a man wants you, nothing can keep him away. If he doesn’t want you, nothing can make him stay.

You don’t become what you want, you become what you believe.

You will survive anything if you live your life from the point of view of truth.

There is one video which I admire deep down from my conscious and thank the good lord that I happen to find and watch it when I really, really, really needed it. Watch it Oprah Winfrey on taking responsibility of your energy.

If even a single sentence had helped you today, my work is done here! Hope you have a great day ahead.
